Leveraging Our "Comprehensive Capabilities" to Contribute to Sustainable Community Development
As a comprehensive construction consulting firm, we provide full-service consulting that leverages our wide-ranging technical expertise, from surveys and planning to architectural design, civil engineering design, structural design, facility design, surveying, and soil investigation. Utilizing the experience and broad technical capabilities we have cultivated over the years, we continue to innovate in response to changing times and contribute to realizing sustainable community development through our "comprehensive capabilities."
Architecture Dept. Architectural Division
Our Architectural Division is responsible for conceptualizing and planning projects, as well as creating actual building spaces. We focus on designing architecture suited to the climate of Okinawa and plan projects that meet the needs of our clients. We handle a wide range of buildings, including public facilities for the national, prefectural, and local governments, office buildings, hotels, commercial facilities, residences, and factories, contributing to improving the environment in Okinawa.
Civil Engineering Dept. Civil Engineering Division
"Our Civil Engineering Division is a section that widely contributes to the development of social infrastructure such as roads, ports, airports, and parks. For many years, even before Okinawa's reversion to Japan, we have been involved in numerous social infrastructure projects both within and outside the prefecture. However, recent environmental issues, the aging society, and the advancement of ecological promotion as a key economic pillar are demanding significant changes in the way social infrastructure is developed."
Instead of the conventional infrastructure development focused on function, there is a growing demand for creating high-quality social infrastructure that is environmentally friendly, considerate of the elderly, and respectful of Okinawan culture.
Under this division, the Civil Design Department, Surveying Department, and Soil Investigation Department work together as a unit. We have traditionally been involved in rivers and coasts, ports and airports, roads and bridges, transportation, parks and green spaces, cultural properties, water and sewage systems, landscape design, signage design, soil investigation, and surveying. We offer comprehensive and innovative proposals in these areas to create the high-quality social infrastructure society demands.
Planning, Survey, and Development Dept. Planning, Research, and Development Division
Founded in 1960, our company has various divisions that handle the planning and research related to community development, basic planning for public facilities, and industrial and regional promotion. Our Regional Planning Department, established in 1999, and Community Planning Department, which branched off from it in 2010, have been responsible for these tasks. Through numerous projects related to the promotion and development of Okinawa, both departments have accumulated experience and refined their technical skills. In the spring of 2021, they were integrated into a new organization called the Community & Island Design Department, which continues to evolve with a renewed commitment and a vision for Okinawa's future.
A "community" requires not only infrastructure but also spaces for working, playing, learning, and interacting. An "island" encompasses the concept of Okinawa as an island region, a sense of home, layers of time, and spaces at the more familiar community level. "Design" embodies our vision and creative efforts to coordinate the smiles of the diverse people who inhabit these spaces.
